In this problem the first step you should take is to change the LCD to confirm whether the LCD is working fine or not. If the new LCD shown the same problem then you should not change the LCD and you can use the old one present in the phone. All you gave to do it to trace the point shown in the diagram and make jumpers accordingly to solve Nokia 215 Display Light problem.
